What do Psoriasis and a Queen have in common? Print E-mail

Hypnosis! that's what. The queen of Belgium, age 80 was recently sedated...

in a hospital that has done 4000 surgeries using hypnosis. And a recent study I just uncovered (from 1999) has researchers on that team suggesting hypnosis be used with psoriasis patients. Read all about the queen here:

Read about hypnosis and psoriasis in Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics, a 1999 issue.

Can't find that? Try googling this:

Tausk, F. & Whitmore, S.E. (1999). A Pilot Study of Hypnosis in the Treatment of Patients with Psoriasis. Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics, 68(4): 221-5.

Have a hypno-happy day!
